A Little About Me
I always say, "I didn't find chiropractic care... It found me."
As cliché as that may sound, it is true. I was lost in life, searching for "what I wanted to be when I grew up." The only thing is, I was already in my junior year of undergraduate school. I had gone from everything from dentistry to PE coach, trying to convince myself that I would be happy in pursuit of a career in that particular field. Heck, I even almost went to pharmacy school... (if you want to know more about that story, you better buy me a cup of coffee first, haha!!)
Long story longer, I was studying to get my biology degree at Lindenwood University, and a long-lost friend of mine (Dr. Dustin Bosson of the amazing Vital Performance Chiropractic) invited me to come on a campus tour of Logan University, and the rest is history, so to speak. In my time in chiropractic school, I developed a strong passion for helping families THRIVE instead of merely SURVIVE. My wife was able to stop medications and overcome some significant health concerns while under neurologically based chiropractic care. This opened my eyes to what was truly possible in our bodies when they are free of neurological interference, and I have been on a mission ever since to help those I come in contact with realize their true potential, too!

Do you accept insurance?
While we don't directly accept insurance, we are considered out-of-network, and as a part of our service, we will contact your insurance to see what coverage is included in your plan.
What is the cost of the first appointment?
After your $75 deposit for your virtual consultation, that amount will be applied to your first visit. The total first visit cost is $330. That includes x-rays, neurological scans, findings, and your first adjustment. This is something we can also work into your care plan.
How soon can I get an appointment?
We book a week or two in advance, depending on availability. You will have a virtual consultation with Dr. Ryan, then our team will schedule your in-office visit from there.
Why do I have to do a virtual consult before my in-office appointment?
As a neurologically focused chiropractor, Dr. Ryan dives deep into your health journey. We are not the place to come and get a quick crack/pop and come back when it hurts. Dr. Ryan aims to truly get to the root cause of the issues you're having and prevent future ones from arising. By booking a consult with him, this allows him to fully hear you and understand what is going on, so he knows how to best assist you once you arrive for your first appointment.
Do you see pregnant women?
Yes! Dr. Ryan can see you at any point during your pregnancy - before, during, or after.
Do you see babies?
Yes! We believe chiropractic care is essential to them adjust smoothly to the outside world. Dr. Ryan can see babies as soon as they're born!
I don't have back pain. Is chiropractic care still recommended?
Yes! At Excelsior, we focus on whole body wellness. Dr. Ryan uses readings from a nervoscope to help determine interference in the spine that's colliding with your body functioning at its best. Getting adjusted affects everything from mental health to gut health and beyond.
